Cancel post/edit button plugin

I'm interested in a cancel button that allows you to cancel edits and posts. I realize you can just click the link that takes you to the page you want, but this would be more intuitive in my mind.

You can technically do this with the layout templates alone.

In Themes > Layout Templates > Posting Page change this:

To this:

The only downside when doing it this way is it doesn't use the prettified board and thread URLs (where the subject is included after the thread ID such as what's shown in the address bar when viewing this thread), but you can add a Javascript code to the beginning of the template if you want those.
