I have some questions about an essay I'm writing for Proboards. I didn't wanna PM anyone important and bother them, so I'll drop this here and anyone who has the info can drop it in at their leisure.
How many forums have been created on Proboards?
How many posts are made a day, on average, on Proboards forums?
Is Proboards' software still primarily written in Perl? I know it was pre-v5, but I'm not sure if that changed.
And this is for anyone: What's your favorite thing about Proboards?

How many forums have been created on Proboards? Well over 4 million from what data I have available at this moment. How many posts are made a day, on average, on Proboards forums? There are many posts created over the entire service every second; unfortunately I can't share the specifics. Is Proboards' software still primarily written in Perl? I know it was pre-v5, but I'm not sure if that changed. The forums are still written primairily in Perl (not counting anything front-end), while our newer tools and the work on v6 introduced a lot of new technologies as well. And this is for anyone: What's your favorite thing about Proboards? All the communities and in particular the Support forum community  |

If you want a timeline, here you go It's not official, but has been mostly verified by Pat I love how the support board allows users to help out, many of them know the answers through using the platform Also, unlike some places i could mention, Proboards actually listen to their users, and even have them as deep into testing as Alpha. |
