The problem with these requests isn't the client side of things (aka the plugin), it's what's in the middle between the clients. To be able to setup a "line" between 2 peers (i.e me and you), there needs to be a signaling server (sounds more complicated than it is) to help with the handshake. On top of that, you will need a STUN and (maybe) a TURN server to handle NAT to determine the path between the 2 peers (aka me and you). Last I checked, Google provides a STUN server, and in most cases that will be good enough (I think). So basically it's not going to happen. On top of the issues I posted about, there is also security issues to think about with the payloads. Just use the ProBoards message system. Check out cbox.ws or the default shoutbox for public live chat, discord for public live chat that allows audio speaking if you want, or private messaging for private communication (although it won't be live). Discord also has private live communication, written or verbal.
