Dropdown feild in profile

Hi there!

So, I am running an RPG forum and would love to have a drop-down field. I know there must be a way to do this, but when I edit my template for a profile, it does not show up.



Does anyone have an idea on what I may be doing wrong?

Hi Brian!

I am editing the User Profile, to include a drop-down field. I have been using the Custom Field Modifier and the Custom Profile Fields Organizer plugins but can not figure out how to properly incorporate a drop-down without breaking things.

Are you trying to turn one of the custom fields into a dropdown? That's controlled by the Type column in Members > Custom Profile Fields in your admin area.

If not, you'll need to go into more detail about what you're trying to do.

No, that is exactly where I needed to go! I was drawing a complete blank as to the next step.

While I have this thread open, is it possible to do if/else depending on what is selected from the drop-down?

For example, the drop-down has Spaghetti as an option. If you choose Spaghetti it gives you the option of selecting meatballs and extra sauce.
