toggle Banner [solved]

Hi,
I have been looking for some way to do a hover banner.
I've searched the forums and found some, but they're not what I want/don't feature right.

I would like a little symbol below my title, and when clicked pops up a box or two about my forum.

I tried some things but they didn't seem to work; I'm not exactly a code master lol

I would be SO thankful if someone could help me find this!!!

Could you provide a link to your forum so we can see what your current setup is? Make sure the default theme (that guests see) is the theme you are wanting to edit. :)

Alright, so I threw the images into photoshop to illustrate what you're asking for. Can you confirm this is what you want or explain what you do want, if it isn't? Obviously it wouldn't be giant ugly red boxes, but they serve the purpose of conveying the gist. xD

What you'd always see:


What you would see after clicking the button:

EDIT: Well, I imagine the button would still be present underneath the boxes so they could be toggled off xD didn't include that bit in the pic..

So it wouldn't technically be a hover banner, but rather a toggle banner, when you click the button then the boxes appear on top of the banner.

Please correct anything wrong

Alright that's pretty good! A few questions real quick:

1. Can the 'button' be turned into a symbol (like the v symbol) ?

2. Can the boxes be moved after clicking the button to be in a different position?

3. Will the button be visible as to hide the boxes again?

4. Will it be easy to edit the boxes, for example, change their position, remove one, etc. ?

Yes to all of those things. The image I made was pretty ugly placeholder stuff just to ensure I grasped what you wanted. :)

I've never done this exact code before, so I make no promises. If I fail at it, though, someone else will likely step in and help you. For now, mind if we move this to PMs to work on creating this? Or, if you have a Discord, then that can be easier to communicate through, mine is Ruanly#7946. If not, then PMs work ^^
