So I have been wanting to create my own roleplay site for quite a while but I have been a little bit hesitant about it. I am a pretty creative storyteller, writer, and leader but I am awful with graphics and code which are necessary skills for developing any forum. Any tips on how to find a co-admin with these kills or if it is even a good idea? I have been absent from roleplaying for almost a year so I don't have any existing communities to pull from. Are there any admins who successfully created a site while lacking in these skills Are there communities of folks who are willing to support new sites? Any and all feedback is incredibly appreciated.
Also, I am trying to build a Percy Jackson AU where camp halfblood has been converted to school that includes new huntresses and a revived group of priests dedicated to serving the gods who do not have children.

As an Admin myself, let me just say that it's not usually a good idea to just make someone co-Admin - you'll want someone who has been on your forum for awhile and someone you can trust. That being said, there are boards here that you can find help with coding and graphics. For coding, there's the: - Coding Help board for general coding questions. - Request a Template board for template-specific coding questions. - Request a Plugin board to request a plugin - many of which can be installed ready to run or with minimal setup on your part (like adding a <div>). Plugin authors are good with letting you know any specifics that need to be done on your end. For graphics, there's the: - Graphics Design Requests board, to request a graphic. It's important to remember, though, that the people who do these are all volunteers. It may also be worth noting that there is a Plugin Library that has many plugins in it. There's also a Theme Library that has many pre-made themes.

This is probably the most unpopular choice, but the alternative is learning how to do it yourself. It takes time and patience and the learning curve is steep if you don’t find yourself naturally inclined to these topics, but it will in the long run mean that you aren’t dependent on finding others to help you.
And just in case this sounds dismissive, I want to stress that I propose this because it’s what I did both with design and coding. I got tired of trying to find people to help me out all the time for the smallest things that I finally decided to figure it out myself. (As an aside this wound up actually turning itself into my career)
If that’s something that interests you I’d be more than happy to provide you with resources to start learning (: You could also join forums like adoxography 2.0 with an active community base to learn proboards in particular.

Thank you both for your feedback! I have been looking through some of those resources and I think you are both correct!
