Add Facebook like button to all threads

Hi guys,
Can somebody please make me a code that will automatically add a Facebook like button to all forum threads?  I would like the button to be displayed in the same area that the Proboards like button is displayed if possible? (it doesn't matter what order it is displayed in)  I want to disable the proboards like button because I share a lot of my forum's posts on Facebook and the proboards like button is also interfering with one of my template hacks anyways.

Technically speaking, a thread can't be liked but a post can. Of course every thread begins with a post, so you can like that, if you desire.

How would a 'Facebook like button' function differently than the ProBoards like button? Is it just a matter of what the button looks like, or do you want it to do something different?

That's inherent in the ProBoards like system. Each like comes from a member of the forum. And members who have liked a specific post will be listed. Guests can't issue a like because there would be no way of identifying who they are. I don't think that will change.

As I'm just a ProBoards user, I don't fully understand all the inner workings of the ProBoards like system but from the outside looking in, I don't think what you're proposing will be possible. But I could be wrong so I'll tag a few people who are far more knowledgeable on the inner workings ( Chris Brian Matej ) , one of them might be able to give you more definitive answers.

If you don't want to use PB's like system, you can easily turn it off in Admin > Settings > Forum Settings > Forum (tab) > Enable "Like" System (option)

I like it but I would rather use the Facebook like button for reasons that I stated in original post.

SafeInSanity, if I understand your request, you are wanting a FB like button for threads that creates the like on the FB platform for the threads you share?

I would like the Facebook like button to appear on all threads where the proboards like button currently resides. Not needed in all posts but just first post in a thread yes.
