Does your forum have a Questions or Comments board? If so, does it get used often? If not, why?
Mine does, but I've found that nobody uses it. It's a shame that it's ill-treated, because I'd like to know what others think about it without resorting to drastic measures.
Please move if necessary.

We have a Suggestion Box. During the 13+ years of our forum we've had only about 30~40 threads. But I'm not bothered by the lack of use. It's there if anyone wants to suggest changes or improvements. Why doesn't it get use more often? That's easy to explain.

I have a board called "Comment Box." It's for comments, questions, and suggestions. People also seem to use it if they want to post something forum-related like, "Hey, remember when Proboards used to be like this?" or "What happened to this member?" The average board on my forum has about 61,000 posts. Comment Box only has 17,887, but I still think it's a very productive and constructive use of space. It keeps everything organized.

I've tried several different versions of a 'comment box' with minimal success. The least used was a comment box on my board. I got two comments in two years.
The most used by FAR was an anonymous suggestions/conversation channel used VIA a Discord bot. People could speak their mind in real time without anyone knowing who was talking. It was very successful and I got a lot of feedback that I otherwise wouldn't have received.

(I got one, but don't even use it myself.) How does one convince people to branch out to off-site, but semi-affiliated, methods?
