site: 6thlouisiana.orgI have looked for awhile and I cannot figure out why the background of my nav tree is transparent. Has anyone run into this before? Thanks in advance for your help. The color the hover buttons are what I want the entire nav tree bar to be.

Hi alexbloodworth Let's try the easy way first. Unless your theme has been heavily modified, the styling should respond to the Visual Editor. Navigate: Admin Home> Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS> stay on the Visual Editor tab. In the first section ( Forum), click on Header (Top). That section will expand. Then click on Navigation Tree Container. That section will expand. Click on the data input area to the right of Background Color and set the desired background color. If you aren't satisfied with the contrast between the text and the background, you can also click on Links immediately below that expanded section. Text Color in the newly expanded section will change the color of the non-hovered text in the nav tree. When you have the colors looking the way you want, be sure to click either Save Changes at the bottom left of the page OR the Save Theme button near the top of the page. Please confirm if this gets the desired result.

Thank-you very much for the reply most appreciated! I figured it out it was in the layout I was simply placing
$[navigation.tree]
vice
{if $[navigation.tree]}
<div id="navigation-tree">
$[navigation.tree]
</div>
Thanks again have a wonderful day!
