Hi CrazyBoy Through your Admin panel, navigate: Admin Home> Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS>, stay on the Visual Editor tab. If you're on a wide screen, you can see your forum displayed on the right side of the page. You can navigate in that area to display the part of the forum (in this case creating a thread or reply) so you can see the effect that making changes (on the left side of the page) will have. On the left side of the page... Under the heading: Pages, click on the word Editors. That section will expand. The click on Preview Editor. That section will expand. The first item is labeled Background Color. It looks like you have that set to 070707 which is near-black. If you click inside the box where the 070707 value is, a popup will appear with controls which will allow you to adjust the background color to your liking. A value of ffffff will give you pure white, which is what your BBCode Editor is currently set to.
When you're finished, click Save Changes at the bottom left or Save Theme near the top.
Let me know if that gets you where you want to go.

Did you mean code as in the hexadecimal value like #808080 which would be halfway between pure black #000000 and pure white #ffffff ? This article from W3 schools would be a good reference for you: HTML Color Shades

i've now the gray when i write a post but when i post it it is with white :-( Yes, that's as it should be. When you set the background color in the editor(s), that only affects the background while you're creating the post. If you want to change the background of the posts and threads while you're reading them, there are several ways to do that. IF you would like to change ALL the backgrounds, including the background color for Board lists on the home page, thread lists on the boards, and posts in threads, and have those all the same color, use the Colors & Theme Creator. Admin Home> Themes> Colors & Theme Creator> Scheme>Then click on A popup will appear. On the right side of the popup under the heading Containers, Background 1 controls the background color of Board lists, Thread lists, and odd-numbered Posts. Background 2 controls the background color for even-numbered Posts.

that's will change i want? That will change all the things I described. If that's what you want, then yes. If you want fewer things to change, let me know exactly what you want to change and what you want to stay white.

It will also change the background of the Board lists and Thread lists. If that's what you want, then follow the instructions. If you want to change the background color of the posts but not the background color of the Board lists and Thread lists, we can take a different approach.
