Strange Element in Footer

Hello:

My forum URL:  allkindsofeverything.boards.net

There is a strange object which looks like a text field (but it's not) which has shown up on my forum and on all the themes in the last couple of weeks. It's on the lower, left hand corner of the screen below the copyright notice. It also shows up on my iMac, iPad and even the PC that I use at work. 

Recently I noticed that this other board has the same thing as well, except in a different color (gray).

I'm curious as to what this is and how I can get rid of it?

A quick inspection shows that appears to be an area for smilies to scroll across:



That same <div> is on both forums.

Thank you Lynx for getting back to me.

I downloaded the Smilie Dropdown plugin recently before this element appeared. But I belong to other boards which use this Plugin and this element is not there.

Is it possible to remove this element, because it's not being used and I am not a fan of it, to be honest. Where would I go to remove it? I looked on my Style Sheet but couldn't find it.

I have a code that gets rid of that - you can choose to use it or not if you like but is what I do.

div#smilieMDiv {display:none;}
#smilieMScroll {display:none;}

You will need to get into the plug in section of your admin -- and click on the SMILIE DROPDOWN and put it at the bottom of the POPUP CSS.

That was caused by me during one of my 'testing' phases, I forgot to re-insert the classname into the cell.

Version 3.2.9 of the plugin will fix that, but Beckea's code does the exact same thing, so no need to update unless you want to.
