New Badges

Would it be possible, to have someone create some new badges?

I would be looking for something related to Christmas.  I'll be having a scavenger hunt in my forum, over the holidays, and I would love the winner to receive a Christmas Badge.

Can you provide some more detail on what you’re looking for, I might be able to help depending on what you need. When you say badge are we talking avatar or like the reward badges at the bottom of your mini-profile? Any text on the badge? Border, colors etc?

Well I'm having a Christmas Contest in my forum ... and I'd like to be able to reward the winners, with a Christmas type badge.  

Yes, a badge like the Cookie badge, from the badge store, here at Proboards.  

Obviously something Christmassy ... like a tree, an ornament, bells, etc.  

I'm open to suggestions about colours.  Obviously a tree would be green, LOL ... with some decorations perhaps, or a Christmas ornament, any colour.

For text, I would like:  Christmas 2019

Okay, thanks for the info. I haven't created one of those yet so I'm not familiar with dimensions and such but I'll do a little research and get back to you. Shouldn't be a problem.

Are you using a plugin for your badges, such as Trophies or Awards System?

I didn't have much luck looking for standard dimensions so I just created an assortment. If you have a specific size let me know and I can resize the largest image to what you need. Sizes run as follows: Large=355x364 Medium=150x154 Small=50x51 xSmall=20x20.

Not using a plug in, no ... I get my badges from the Badge Store, at Proboards. Would that be an issue at all?  Unless you can get Proboards to incorporate it into their Badge Store.

I want it in the member's profile as with the other Badges from the store.

I don't know if custom badges can be incorporated into the store. I believe the best way is to use a plugin if you need custom badges and awards, but I'm relatively new so I may be wrong. Might want to ask someone who's been around a while who would know more than I do.

Kitty Katt Would you happen to know anything about adding custom badges to the mini-profile via the store?

Would be easier using the Awards System plugin from Todge. Works great, and is easy to setup. Plus, it can be used whenever you want. I've used it on my forum for a while, I love it.

Sassy, I'm going to assume the best thing would be to use the Awards System plugin Endo mentioned. If you find you need a size other than those provided above just tag me and I can resize to your specs.
