Hi friend! I wanted to give you some honest, constructive feedback!
First Impressions:
HOLY COW!!! Look at all those members! There are a lot of members on this website and I think that is definitely a pat on the back! I've had my website for 14 years and I haven't gotten past 20. This should be a website that the Admin is extremely proud of!
Content: There's just a few nitpicks that I would like to add to the suggestion box for the content
I would reorganize some items such as the boards called,
As a suggestion, move: "Classic Talks", "Modern Talks" and move into the first category called, "Starting Off". I am very happy that you have gotten creative with the naming of the boards and the categories. This the first critique where I don't see something labeled as: "General" so thank you!
As another nitpick thing, I always encourage website designers not to put their rules/principles as the very first board in the "Starting Off" category. For browsers, it might create an intimidating feeling to the newbies. I would reorganize it something like this:
Starting Off Category
1)
Discussion Central (or Welcome Central or Home, there's so many different creative names to name this board): This is where the talk boards can move to and be created into sub-boards.
Sub-Boards: Announcements, Classic Talks, Introductions, Modern Talk, Off-Topic (this doesn't have to be it's own category, you can place it in the discussion board).
-I noticed that the "Classic Talks" and "Modern Talks" were listed in the "Game Show" category and I think those should be put in the welcoming category.
2)
Inquiry: This is where you can combine the title "Questions/Comments" into one word and you can take out the slash mark. That way in the description, it can be described as: questions, comments, concerns can all be answered here. This is a guest friendly board. Something like that perhaps.

Connections: This board doesn't need to have "Advertising/Affiliates" since it is kind of the same thing.
4)
GSP Archive: I would remove the category and put it in the "Starting Off" category to reduce clutter and to give newbies a sense of where to start. Having the archives there can help people understand the website a little bit more. Like references.
5)
Rules: I always advise this type of board to be one of the last boards to make the website seem less serious.

Graphics:
The banner has wonderful colors that match up with the website. However, the banner also states: "Game Shows and More Since 2012". That's a long time ago. Has anything else been added or changed since then? If so, I think that 2012 should be removed and or updated. The banner is a little awkward with graphic wise, but I think that was the intent because of certain game graphics (I could be wrong, I'm unclear of the intentions). If that was the intent then please ignore this part of the critique because it was nailed awesomely. I remember some of the old video games that I grew up with had graphics like on that banner of the website.
Advertisement Ideas:
