We were wondering as a site if there was a plugin or such like that could count posts in only certain boards, threads or areas and tally them up so we could show them in the userbox and reward these when people hit numbers like 50/100/250 and so forth

I'm not aware of one that exists for that purpose, but it's entirely possible for a plugin to do that. Just a few things to keep in mind:
- The plugin wouldn't work retroactively as there's no way for a plugin to automatically obtain that information upon installation. It would have to count up from 0. - You can fill in the information yourself, but you would have to do so manually for every user up until now. - Since plugin key data can be edited by the user the number it records can be manipulated. The number is basically editable by the user at any time if they know how to do it.

The first point we are aware of, the plan is if we get it in asap then it would be alright to work with the number we have now as the number we have now havent been *too* manipulate by most people, theres always some, but we are aware of who they are. We have been trying to count ourselves, however, with like 20 players on +3 characters each.....its getting to be very overwhelming so a plugin would be so much easier and currently i and my co-admin are the only people with access to the plug in board so im not worried about the number being manipulated, had an admin play with stuff like that before so very aware of it. Good to know its not out there and i wasnt just searching and being a twit, shall have to see if someone can some up with it

Surely guests posts would never be counted as the site doesn't know to do so, I was more looking for a plug in to count seperatly sorta like the money plug in counts and records and can then be used or suchly. I think pb does a good job with what it's got, aside little flickers of things like the activity all dropping off yesterday or such

I am getting complaints, mainly from other Forum administrators, where older posts, i.e., from year 2016 are not showing threads/posts count on that particular board to guests not logged in! Rather than those dischanted forum founders seeking plug-ins or themes to counter their physical disabilities and really did not consider their forum users; shouldn't proboards get the basics working before all else! This plugin request is for a novelty feature. It doesn't have anything to do with correcting existing functionality or any of what you've mentioned in your post. If a forum administrator notices a display issue on their forum that seems to contradict their settings I highly recommend they post in the Support Board for assistance with that. Our support team can look directly at their forums and diagnose any problems described to them fairly quickly. The issue you described sounds like a problem with the permissions specified by the admins of those forums rather than the base functionality of the forum itself.

This has nothing to do with forum permissions being an administrator myself when a board which says No posts are made on this board. Yet when you click on the board, there are threads shown LoL I don't have this issue on my own forum but another forum I looked at.This is a relevant post count issue. Because when a forum member deletes their post, then evidently the thread/post count should be reduced by one (1) in the forum footer analytics but does not in fact. Enough of the nonsense excuses purlease LoL
