Newsletter Style Template?

Hola to All!

I am looking for something I (admin only) can use as a template for a newsletter style post and/or email.

I am fairly new to this board, but I did look in the template index for both ProBoards and customer plugins and did not see anything that appeared to fit my need.

Currently I have an email template setup in my local Thunderbird client. It has a nice  colored background, a logo with an image centered at the top and 15 or so "Headings" for the various fixed topic categories I include in the emailed 'newsletter'. It is a simple single page email with no columns or other more elaborate formatting.

I would like to have a template that I can simply call up through a pull-down list or other when I create a new thread/post that then populates the body and then I can simply edit the detailed contents for each of the headings.

I suppose I could create a post with all my standard headings, with the formatting all set up and then copy that content to a file locally. But I would rather have it available as a quick pop-in template/form right on the board.

Is such a thing available or could it be developed?

So a little bit of a misunderstanding here, "templates" in this context refer to the Layout Templates found in the Structure section of your admin panel and govern how the HTML structure of the forum is built.

It looks like you are looking for a posting template, which is a different kettle of fish entirely. There is a plugin where you can save a posting template to your profile, and are able to select it from a drop down when you post:

It sounds like this is what you're looking for, though you will have to create each template manually using BB Code. (:

Ahh, yes, misunderstanding on my part! I will give that plugin a try; it certainly sounds like what I need.
