Retread, thank you for the visuals. That helped a lot. I would be interested in that. Is there an Idiot's Guide to changing it? Thanks to you as well, Beckea for your help and suggestions. Kami: Thank you for the offer, but I think I might be good now if I can figure out the implementation parts.

Kami: Thank you for the offer, but I think I might be good now if I can figure out the implementation parts. HoudiniDerek , I'd like to start with the theme you currently have as default and make the most simple and direct changes to that. I'll describe the process of exporting your theme so I can have a copy to use on my test forum. Then I'll write a step-by-step process of changes you can make to it. And I'll describe what each change does. That way you'll gain some experience. From your Admin panel, navigate: Admin Home> Themes> Theme ManagerFind the only name on the list which has the word Default in black, to the right of the theme name. Click on the name of that theme. On the new page that appears, click the Export tab. Then click Export to Computer. Then click the Export Theme button. A browser popup will appear asking what you should do with the file. Select Save File (with the radio button) Then click the OK button. A copy of your .pbt file for that theme is now on your computer, in your Downloads folder.
While making a post in this thread, click the Add Attachment button. A pop-up will appear, titled: Add Attachment. Click the Add files... button. A new popup will appear. Find the .pbt file you saved. It's probably in your Downloads folder. Click on the name of the file, then click the Open button. The new popup will disappear. On the Add Attachment popup, click the Insert button, then the Done button. The Add Attachment popup will disappear. When you click the Create Post button, a copy of your .pbt file will be available for me to download and install on my test forum.

As I had hoped, your Style Sheet doesn't have a bunch of modifications at the end of it and everything we need to do, can be done from the Colors & Theme Creator. Help you understand the colors I chose, you can see the shades associated with the original color: #663300, by looking at the right-most column on this page from w3schools. www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp?colorhex=663300From your Admin panel, navigate: Admin Home> Themes> Colors & Theme Creator> SchemeThen click on: Customize Theme Colors. A popup will appear which looks like this (I added arrows in this image to indicate where the changes will be made.) Change:Containers Background 1 to ffcc99This controls the background color for the Navigation tree, News, the rows in your board list, thread list, and odd-numbered posts in each thread. Containers Background 2 to ffcc99 This controls the background color for the even-numbered posts in each thread. Containers Highlight to ffe6ccThis lighter shade will appear when you hover over part of the Navigation Tree, or a row on a Board List or Thread List. Pagination Hover to ffcc99This will highlight the Prev, page Number, or Next on the Pagination when you hover over them. After making these changes, click the Apply Color Scheme button on the popup. The popup will disappear. Then click the Save Theme button near the top of the page, or the Save Changes button at the bottom-left of the page.
Let me know how that works out for you. Now that I have this theme on my test forum, I can easily talk you through other changes you might like to make. 16px Font Alpha.pbt (548.5 KB)
