Text Disappears after Closing Tabs

A member on the site ( thesmallrealm.proboards.com/ )has till date lost two whole presentations on history he was creating because he accidentally closed the tab, this has happened to him twice.

I'd like to know if there is a plug-in here that allows us to retain the text we were writing even after we have closed the tab?

Just tell them to enable drafts in their profile settings.

It will save locally, that way the next time they open the reply page for the thread they were replying too, it will ask them if they want to use the draft saved.

Instructing your members to enable drafts in their profile settings as recommended by Peter is by far the most reliable (IF the member follows your instructions.) You can also install a script in your Global Header to force the issue. However, scripts can be blocked so it's less reliable.
