Forum URL: angelsdesign.proboards.com/This is a quirky problem. I seem to be the only one on my site that has this problem. many of us use rotators for out forum sets. The images are uploaded to a fotki account which has unlimited bandwidth and then the codes from these images are loaded into www.imagerotation.com/. I basically belong to three (excluding support) Proboard sites. and one site on a different server. The images from my rotator show for me on all these sites except the above, although others on the site can see my forum set images. The other members who are using the same method...I cannot see theirs either. I use Chrome. I have the exact rotator on all three sites and Angels is the only one I have difficulty with.....using Chrome. If I switch to the Opera Browser, everything is Visible, or if I am on my ipad which uses Safari there is no problem. I have cleared my cache and cookies. Then when I go to Angels everything on mine is there, but if I close out that tab, and reopen it they are gone again. I am using Windows 10 and Chrome Version 79.0.3945.130 It must be something on my end, but I'm in a quandry as to why it is doing this with only one site and only on one type of browser. Though it most likely is not a proboards problem, I'm hoping that someone might know why this is happening and what I can do about it. Thanks for your time and consideration

Thanks for your time and consideration Although not certain, I would suspect a browser extension is at the source of this problem. To the far right of the address bar, you'll see three dots arranged in a vertical pattern. Click on that, then hover over 'More Tools' then click on 'Extensions'. That will open a new page which lists all your extensions and each one will have a blue 'toggle switch' in the lower right-hand corner. Click on each one, and it will change from blue to white, indicating the extension is disabled. Now navigate on the forum where your image rotator wasn't working. Is it working now? If so, one of the extensions had been blocking it. Re-enable each of your extensions, one-by-one until you find the one that's causing the problem.

The only extension that was there was Avast Online Security, which is the security system I use and have been using for over 10 years. I deleted that and there was no change

I am not sure what account is yours on that forum, but i found one account using imagerotator [ LadyJane ] and the image is not loading for me. I have tried in chrome, firefox and edge. I would check with imagerotator, as for me the image is not loading when requested, which points to an issue there end.

My account is Huronna....always the same everywhere Lady Jane may have been using Photobucket and her account ran out as she isn't an active member. One of the other people that is using the same manner that I am is Flagryl. I could previously see her forum sets, just fine, but for some reason now I can't

Ah, that would make sense. Typically, i went back 3 pages in the recent posts that guests can see, and didn't see your name, but saw she was also using imagerotation. Should have went back 4 pages as i see your name now. I can also see your avatar. To rule out a potential issue, could i ask if clicking on either of these links make a difference: Link 1 - you should see 'not secure' in the address bar of the browser Link 2 - you should see a closed padlock in the address bar.

Sorry was watching the Super Bowl. the Link 1, the "not secure" works. I also checked my own site (Animation Lesson) and it says unsecure also.
Was this something somehow I did, not knowingly? I also just checked on Opera, and it normally comes up unsecure, and that's why I saw everything. How do I keep it from reverting back? Just save this link that you gave me?

There is a push online to have all pages and content served under secure connections, so https instead of the standard http. ProBoards is currently transitioning to provide all pages via an https connection. Unfortunately, browsers, by default, will block any content not served using https from loading on an https html page. The avatar is loading from an http connection, which is why the browser is blocking it from showing. Although you can currently access both the secure and not secure pages, after the transition period, you would only be able to access on the secure link. ProBoards transitioning to httpsIdeally you would want imagerotator and/or the image host to provide an https link, which would then work.

I have written to the owner of www.imagerotation.com/index.php with the problem explaining everything and seeing if he can help with this All the images are loaded on public.fotki.com/, so that would not be a problem, it's loading them into image and then to proboards. Thank you so much for assisting with this problem, I have been going nutzo about it for days. I have now pposted to all my members about the upcoming changes so that they will be aware.
