Recent Posts Will Not Load

It's been at least five hours since the forum started doing this: it looks like it's struggling with any thread that's code-heavy.

These two threads are refusing to load and keep freezing up as well.

I ran a console test on your site, there's a .js file loading a bit slowly which can be the result of a recent plugin update

Is there anything we can do in the meantime? Will it fix itself? Any guidance would be appreciated. We are struggling to use the forum around this issue.

What plugin got updated in the past day? Disable it.

We disabled our Style Tags plugin (updated early April), which seemed to be what was causing the issue on those few pages. It's strange because it's only when we made two code heavy posts that this issue even popped up at all.

We kept the style tags plugin enabled but deleted the posts causing the issue.

Dunno why the plugin's started causing trouble now, of all times. The update was over a week ago.

Updating this to say that I contacted the creator of the Style Tag plugin that was causing the issue and they helped me update to the latest version. This fixed the issues we were having.

I can happily say this issue has been resolved!
