Thread Link Lists from Specific Boards

On my forum I have a custom page in which I want a section to list off threads from a specific board, like a recent threads list, but from only one board, and if there is nothing in the board to show, I want it to say "None.". How would I go about putting this together?

I believe adding a Recent Threads/Posts widget to one of the zones on your custom page will accomplish exactly this, only the message when there are no threads will be a bit more wordy than "None."

You can set it up so that it only obtains threads from the board that you specify.
