Multi monitors on Gigabyte Z390 Pro Wi-Fi

Can anyone tell me how to set up 2 monitors. Says it supports 3 and I can't get 2.

Are you on windows 10? You should be able to right click on desktop then see Display setting and click on Detect displays, double check your connections and update drivers if you need to.

I have a similar motherboard; the onboard graphics does indeed only have one HDMI output. You should also have a graphics card (aka GPU), which is where there should be a few options for HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA outputs.

Do you have a graphics card installed?

Couldnt you also get a displayport to hdmi and link that way? Most modern cpus alone should support it. Even back in 4000 Icore days should do dual display.

This specific motherboard ONLY has an HDMI. There is no other display output provided by the motherboard. It isn't that the CPU isn't able to handle it, it just means it's onboard graphics can't.

It is pretty odd op wants dual display on a single motherboard, arent pcs required to have a gpu?

No, it is not required. Motherboards come with onboard graphics for base use, but it is suggested to have a graphics card for anything other than bare-minimum display usage.
