If you're planning a trip to the UK, you might want to wait until that's done, unless you're absolutely sure you have a reliable person/place to take care of one. Most kennels won't take puppies.
He's very cute. Have you ever raised a puppy? Make sure your place is puppy proofed. Nothing laying around on the floor, no hazards like chemicals or wires he can chew, etc. Where will he do his business? Is it also puppy proofed? Can you afford the vet bills? Will you be able to set aside some money for emergencies?
I'm not trying to discourage you, but it's very easy to be taken in by such cuteness and not think about all that's involved.
Some places will also require a home check.

What will your cat think about it? It’s easier to get a kitten with a dog than a puppy with a cat. Cats get set in their ways and don’t always like new friends.
