Fully opened? No, but compliance and all is scattered. Our governor and a lot of the people around here have leaned into the "it is what it is" approach.
My old high school started classes last week and took three days to shut down. Having walked those crowded halls I know it's an impossible thing to space out.
At this point I don't pay too much attention to what's allowed or not by the state/city. I'll keep the same habits I've had since March. No way for me to control those around me, so I do what I can and try to avoid high risk places and crowds.

I lost two relatives to COVID, so maybe I take this a little more seriously than others. But I'm not paying much attention as to If Connecticut is fully opened or not. I just worry about some of my favorite restaurants that couldn't build patio's -they may have to close permanently.
So many stores are closed still in the Mall, and I think they will never reopen. *sigh*. I just went to the mall for the first time in years and was amazed as to how dead it was.
Answer me this though- why dressing rooms are closed because of this, but we can still take the clothes home, try them on and RETURN them. Why is this?

Everything is fine so far here in Edinburgh, Scotland with most places open and a few restrictions but in Aberdeen (City) has been closed down because of a fresh outbreak of the virus. Yeah, things are feeling alright in Edinburgh. Most shops I need to go to are open, social distancing seems very normalised and for the most part it feels like folk are taking it seriously - I've rarely felt unsafe outside or in any establishment. Even the couple pubs I've been to since they reopened have felt fine, although I've tried my best to only go indoors. If this is the way things are for the rest of the year, I think I can cope with this level of openness and social connection, especially since popping over to see my family in Glasgow is allowed.
That said, it's entirely depending on case numbers and things are increasing, and we're still not as open as England is. The lockdown in Aberdeen is concerning given it involved jam-packed pubs, and there's some cases starting in schools now that they're open. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I wouldn't be surprised if things lock down some again come October/November.

My husband works in a store that sells mostly electricals, but anything that has a fabric component that is returned or bought in is quarantined for 72 hours. Iβm guessing that happens to returned clothing? Whereas itβd be harder to do that if people tried stuff on in store.

Australia's national death toll has now passed 460.
Any idea why Sweden has refused to go into lockdown? Apparently, they've had over 180 deaths from COVID in the past 24 hours.
