Waterzooi, from Waterzooi Belgian Bistro in Garden City NY, was THE BEST THING I EVER ATE. $39.00 Pan Roast of Lobster, Jumbo Shrimp, Little Neck Clams, Mussels, Baby Yukon Golds, Sweet Corn, Creamy Tarragon Fennel Broth. I was stealing everyone's bread to sop up that amazing sauce.
What was the best thing you've ever eaten?

I honestly can't say I have any one thing that was the best. I had a few things I would consider the best things I ate.
I had this amazing French Onion soup some years ago. I can't even remember where it was that I had that. The biscuits I had at Red Lobster is another one of my best things I ever ate. And my mom's Spätzle and gravy my sister makes for it is another best thing. And this pulled pork sandwich that I had at this local place a few years ago and then last year I had their French fries that had pulled pork on top. That was also another one of the best things I ever had.
Does my own cooking count? If so, I made this wicked killer cheesecake that was totally amazing. It was one of the best I ever had.

Went shopping in Lidl's a few weeks back and bought some German Dulano Pork Frikadellen and when I tasted them I was hooked, they are absolutely gorgeous and you can have then practically with anything especially with a salad dressing on the plate.

I think that pretty much my own cooking is amazing. I'm half Italian and half Hungarian so I have a heck of a repertoire of recipes that my husband and I adore. But I have to admit Red Lobsters cheddar/butter biscuits are pretty amazing (did you know you can get the box mix on Amazon?)
I will stay that I had some lobster stuffed ravioli that was amazing and some fish stuffed with (you guessed it) lobster that I can't duplicate.

You know, I think that this would be a Cajun Boil if you added sausage and took away the lobster...I always wanted to try that. Well whatever it was called Wildmaven, it sounds wonderful.

I think the best may have been Maine Lobster while on vacation in Merideth New Hampshire. Close second would have been Crab Cakes, and Clam Chowder in Patuxent River Maryland for work. Third may have been Broiled, Blackened Grouper in Jupiter Flroda diring Spring Training.

I could mention many different things, but the Bison Burger in a toasted sesame bun I ate many years ago at the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent has been the best burger I have ever had.

I visited a friend in Phoenix, AZ and he took me to a restaurant there called Chelsea's Kitchen. It has this amazing outdoor courtyard where you can choose to eat and the smells from the smokehouse were awesome. I ordered the kale and quinoa salad with chicken and it was absolutely to die for. Best thing I've ever eaten in my life, hahaha.

That's a tough question. Aside from a close call between my great grandma's slow cooked pork with swede and potato mash, and my grandma's roast chicken dinner. Two things come to mind. There was this tiramisu that i had on a visit to Paris, and on a trip to New Zealand we stopped at a cafe where i had a slice of carrot cake that was just divine.

A couple years ago when my brother was visiting we found this little restaurant along the coast. The fish tacos and chips & salsa were the best I ever had. Seafood is not my go to favorite, so I was genuinely surprised it was one of the best meals I had in a long time.
