I always felt "cancel culture" was a term coined by right wing whack jobs with the intellectual capacity of a tea bag & their inability to actually state a case with any semblance of foundation in a debate.
It's the equivalent of a child having a tantrum in a supermarket because their parents won't buy them the right coloured lollies.
People have disagreed for many centuries & now we have a handy moniker for it to mask the fact that they are incapable of rational discussion.
Nobody accused the allied forces in WW2 of cancel culture just because they disagreed with the nazis did they?
