Here's a question for tech savvy people. If I'm using Chrome, and I'm playing a YouTube video while downloading something, how do I get the video to play in full-screen mode without the downloads bar showing at the bottom of the screen? It's very distracting. Obviously I don't want to close the downloads bar, because then there's no way to bring it back. I feel like I must have known how to do this before, because I don't remember ever having this problem in the past, so I must be doing something wrong now. I searched Google and the only relevant result I found was this one, which didn't offer a solution. Does anyone have any tips?

Hit the "show all" tab. That opens the downloads in a new tab and the status on the bottom won't display any longer.

Open a new window with just the video; downloads do not show across separate windows.
