Doesn't matter. My wife and I avoided risky behavior, social distanced, wore masks, sanitized, washed hands, blah, blah and blah. Then we both got it hard. I ended up in the hospital and was told I barely made it. Since I was out of it, I will take their word. My wife is 6 weeks into this virus and has been back to the doctor 3 times, still struggles breathing, still has covid coughing fits and is none the better. So, please forgive me if the masks no longer impress me.

So I’m in agreement that I don’t think masks are doing nearly as much as the science says they are. Sorry to hear you guys had such a terrible time with it. Seems it’s definitely a “mild to wild” experience depending on who you are! I just got a sore throat for about 4 days and was exhausted for about a week and a half. It’s been about 8 or 9 weeks and I still can’t taste - but that’s nothing to complain about.

I live in Thailand, everyone masks up when they go out, you cannot get into malls, shops or govt offices without a mask or using the hand sanitizer provided. No one hugs, kisses or shakes hands in public and we have the worlds lowest fatality and infection rate. Wise up, it's only effective if EVERYONE follows the rules.

Almost nobody. I live in Queensland Australia. Our State has been pretty much free of corona for many months now. Occasionally a tourist comes in with it but they are hotel quarantined. I remember this guy being photographed in Coles supermarket early on with bright rubber gloves, a face shield and mask etc. It was supposed to be funny and the news presenter was making fun of him. Nobody is laughing now.
