Hi! Our community uses both proboards and discord. When new members sign up, they need to be verified by a moderator on the forums, and only after that can they actually join our discord, which is riddled with even more verification steps. We're looking to find out if it's possible to make a plugin that integrates Discord and Proboards and allows us to link accounts when the user performs an action themselves, or perhaps if such plugin already exists.
We currently do the following:
1. User registers on PB and needs to wait for a moderator to activate their account
2. Once that is done, they head to our thread which explains how to join and get verified on our Discord server.
3. The user needs to post their discord username on that forum thread and then, they need to join our discord server and post their forum username in the verification text channel. That way we can tell both accounts belong to the same person, which is very important to us.
4. Again, the user waits for a moderator to verify that both the forum account and discord account belong to the same person, before the moderator gives them roles on Discord and thus access to the Discord server.
We were wondering if there is a plugin that can work together with discord bots or whether it'd be technically possible to write one that checks for a forum post by the user, when prompted by the discord bot.
