How can you get the dice feature to function in a PM?

We are running a RPG type game and I need the dice feature to function via the private message feature. How do I achieve that?

Assuming you are referring to the VDice family of plugins then look to the tweaks tab when configuring the plugin for the allowprivatedice tweak.
