Blade will not change colors

I realize that questions about Verso soundboard would be more appropriate on the Facebook forum. I tried to use Facebook but everyday my account was suspended for a ridiculous request for things like my picture to continue service.

I hope someone will help. I built a saber with the verso soundboard, neopixel leds and am using the default program that came with the board. All of the sounds work and the neopixels come on red. The problem is I cannot change the color with a double tap of the switch. I am building this saber for my son and would like for everything to work.

I just installed one and have the same trouble what did you do to fix it?
