How to disable hovering of nav tree?

Is there a way to disable the menu dropdown when you hover over the nav tree? It's transparent on my site, but I can't change the color of the dropdown menu without changing the entire nav tree color but I want the nav tree to stay transparent.

You're in luck, I had the same desires myself at one point. Pop this into the bottom of your stylesheet for this theme:
