BBCode software?

Would anyone happen to know if there is BBCode software or a resource to help you learn it or create your own?

You can just Google 'BBCode tutorial' for a list of sites that will help you learn how to use it. I can't give you a recommended one because I've never looked at them myself.

As for creating new BBCode rules, you can use the censored words list to a point, or even better, take a look at Chris 's BBCode Plugin, which can be used to create BBCode AND add a relevant button to the posting page.

Just a quick note, the BBCode Buttons plugin allows you to create a button for an existing BBCode which might not currently be represented by a button such as [blockquote] or [pre] or even a custom one created by another plugin. It is however not capable of creating a novel BBCode from whole cloth then adding a button for it, the BBCode has to already exist in some form for the BBCode Buttons plugin to create a button that does something when pressed.

Ahhh... I did know that!!

Sorry Doc Ock , you will need to create your BBCode first before using Chris 's plugin to add a button.
