What do you think?
Do you think it's better to have a Guide board, and post all the info regarding your rp there into different threads(rules, map, whatever you need to explain)
Or it better to only have 1 thread somewhere that explains everything in it, all neatly organized?
There isn't really a right or wrong way, but I was curious what you thought and how you do it. I was thinking to try 1 thread with all the info, since that would be easier to read and guests wouldn't have to visit several threads to learn how the Rp works, but I'd like to know what you think!

Neither, I use custom pages. No one needs to reply to the rules, it's (for me) easier to use HTML to aesthetically differentiate themselves from forum content in order to make them stand out, and since they're pretty static, there's no need to have most of the post controls — any edits can be made through the admin panel as needed, and they won't be removed / deleted / location changed / archived.

I voted for option A, a guide board and individual threads within. The custom pages Kami mentioned sound fancy, but without a coder they sound confusing. So for us regular folk, I go option A all the way. My personal preference problem with B is that it makes for 1 VERY LONG thread...I suppose with the creative use of spoilers that could work well!

I created a google site for my RP - gives high-level overview of the system, rules, etc.

I do a bit of both. The way I've organized my guides/systems is by one "Newbie's Guide" FAQ thread pinned at the top of my site's guide board that describes most site functions in one thread. The first post has links to other posts (each post is its own section of the guide). The systems that require more space for explanation/otherwise don't fit in that guide get their own thread in the guide board.
