Gauging Interest

I hope this is the right board to post this, none of the others seemed to quite fit lol.

I am thinking of creating my own RP forum, but because I want it to do well, I wanted to see what the proboards community is interested in! I have a few current potentials, as can be seen, but I'd love to hear some suggestions! In a basic summary, the site setup would likely consist of divided and unique factions with gods/deities and potentially some magic and fantasy lore weaved in depending on what type of site this becomes.

The biggest bit of advice I can give is to not make a site based on what is popular right now. Base it instead off of something you love, something you, yourself, are invested in. Fad's change constantly, and what is popular is ever-evolving. I've been at this for 15 years now. The number of 'in' things has changed so much. Most things are one hit wonders, others burn bright for a while, then fizzle out, then get a resurgence somewhere down the line. It's really hard to tell what will stay popular and what will burn out after a few months.

Thanks! Yea...I was just hoping that if people seemed more interested in a particular topic, that maybe it would do better. But that makes sense, I know people's interests shift aha.

My vote is to stick with the bread and butter of Proboards RP boards; Cat Warriors.
