No. Blizzards and tornadoes are about the worst I've seen. Got the remnants from one years ago in New Jersey, but it was lower than a tropical storm by then.

Highest velocity winds I experienced was climbing Pen-y-ghent in Yorkshire during a named storm a year or so ago.
It’s really cool being able to lean sideways and have the wind hold the bulk of your weight. Although, it’s not so cool dying of exposure so it probably wasn’t the best idea being out there on a day like that.
Not seen any tornados or hurricanes though. Spent the bulk of my life in northern Ontario, where the only extreme seasonal events are of the mosquito and blackfly variety.
