Good day, I have developed an MS Excel Workbook that contains two worksheets - one for single level boards and one for double level boards.
Here is a sample...
...and here is the file...in ZIP format • Filename: ~Master.xls
I hope that some may find this Workbook of some practicable use.

What is the practical application of this workbook? The information is viewable in the Categories and Boards section in the admin area.

Sarapha, I agree...but not " globally". In a worksheet sheet, I can view the entire Board/Sub-Board layout. The following is an example of the "Welcome!" Board:
For this viewpoint then, I can see all of the various fields that make up this board.
I find this particularly helpful for viewing access rights. The following is an example of a referenced worksheet:
I hope that this brief explanation makes sense?

Not globally, no. But I can't think of any reason that this would be needed, since you would need to look at every single board anyway to fill out this information. How do you suggest this would be useful?

Sarapha,
Not "globally".
The Admin > Structure> Categories & Boards only allows viewing of the Forum structure at once - but not the Category and Board contents at once. The spreadsheet however...does.
Also, using cell references, I am able to create a worksheet that displays just the access permissions to the various Categories/Boards/Threads...which cannot be view using the above means.
In the end, "different stokes for different folks".

Excel has over hundred in fact thousands of functions. On the top of that Excel VBA programming made almost everything possible in excel. I use it for research papers and other assignments using help of www.topwritersreview.com/reviews/dissertationteam/ . It depends upon you data and your requirements. Can you give me one example that with the given data set what do want to do. Also for excel related solutions you should consult specialized excel forums like excelforum.com.
