I would say no for the vast majority of them. That's partially the reason that I think all politicians should have term limits. Then, they couldn't continue to stay in a high salary, low result position forever.

I think while they're in office that they should live on minimum wage and not have access to any prior savings. Give them a real hard look at what most of the country is living on.

At the same time we don't know everyone of their backgrounds it's hard to believe every single politician is corrupt theirs plenty that's all for raising minimum wage salery to $15 an hour. I just live by can't judge someone until you know them.

Although I don’t mind them having a decent salary, it’s a real kick in the teeth when they take massive pay rises while NHS staff are offered 1%

No, I would love to be a politician and give myself a wage rise above inflation, they say they deserve it as they can sit in the House of Lords for hours waiting for a bill to be passed and yet what I see on tv half of them are fast asleep!!

They should be paid for the work they promised to do and if they don't do what they said they get less of a salary.
