Well I went to the er last night over a tooth infection turns out I had a 100° fever which I'm hoping is just from the tooth infection they said it's gum abscess. It's werid though apart from just feeling a little sweaty and tooth pain I don't feel sick at all. Kind of glad I got checked out though knowing I had a fever the dentist probably would have shooed me out.

Assuming your hospitals are like ours, everyone is swabbed for covid before admission. If you had a fever, they’d treat it as suspected covid until they found the actual cause to be sure you don’t pass it on to anyone else.

Hopefully they’ve prescribed the right antibiotics and you’ll be feeling better soon.

knowing mine it'll say seeked medical attention.

Anyway the tests luckily came back as negative and the pills they gave are helping ease the pain. Sadly more bad news, the dentist has told me it was a cavity that had broken off and I'll need a crown replacement and root canal. But no dental insurance and they're asking around $3 to 2 thousand.

So I'm shopping around for dental coverage and most are saying they only cover front door canals and it's one of my chewing teeth. So my only options are to get it filled and keep replacing it if it breaks or get it pulled which I was advised could cause more damage in the future.

User 180565 is taking donation, if you're near a large city you may want to see if there's a dental college and if you could get treatment there. At one time those places gave free or reduced rate care for service, of course the flip side is that a student does the work.
