Pfizer Developing Pill to Treat COVID-19 SymptomsIn contrast to the current vaccines, this pill would not be a preventative measure but rather a treatment for those infected. One more weapon in our arsenal. Additionally an oral Vaccine was mentioned in the article: A coronavirus vaccine that could be taken as a pill may enter clinical trials in the second quarter of 2021. The oral vaccine is being developed by Oravax Medical, a new joint venture of the Israeli-American company Oramed and the Indian company Premas Biotech. So far, all coronavirus vaccines are injectable. Thoughts/opinions?

I fully expect to be vaccinated every year just like with the regular flu.
It would be nice to have a pill that treated the symptoms, maybe more people would take this more seriously if they had a curative.

maybe more people would take this more seriously if they had a curative. I'm thinking the opposite. Once a treatment is developed and proven, I think fewer people will be motivated to get the vaccine. JMO.

WebMD Is kind of an iffy source to trust even my local doctors agree. Did you even read the article? Exactly what do you think might be 'iffy' regarding what they said? Do you think they misquoted the CEO of Pfizer's statements regarding their Covid-19 treatment pill? Do you think they were just making things up when the cited Oravax Medical's intention of starting clinical trials for their oral vaccine in the second quarter of 2021? ? ? ?

No I linked a possible covid pill vaccination before in the past, WebMD just isn't always the best for medical info from what I've been told by doctors.

Or did they advise against making diagnoses and or medical decisions based solely on information available on WebMD? I have never heard any doctor dispute the validity of the information presented there. But it's common knowledge that making an informed medical decision requires more than WebMD (or any non-interactive service) has to offer.

I remember reading an article about the Covid vaccine being included as one shot, combined with the yearly flu vaccine.
