How do I add Ranks to Groups?

This may be possible, but what I'm really trying to achieve is much more like Select Fields rather than Groups with conditions.

For example, users in my group will all be treated as default rookie however.
Groups that are now treated like user profiles is also acceptable.

Ranks and Groups have no relation by default. Ranks are based solely on post count. However, if you can elaborate to paint a clearer picture, someone can see if something that acts like a rank can be added dependent upon a specific group. Just note that a user can belong to more than 1 group at a time. I'm guessing, however, that this would affect only the currently displayed group?
