So, basically what I'm looking for here is an overall view and opinion on the type of forum I have created. Essentially, users are randomly assigned to one of four teams. Then, they compete doing different events like puzzles, word searches, cryptograms, playing forum games and the likes. They earn points and forum currency for participation and winning events/games and can use forum currency to purchase forum rewards out of the shop. Then of course, we have the general discussion areas as well.

I'll be perfectly honest with you, my assessment is not a positive one. The site is a dull color and it appears designed for techno geeks. (I humbly apologize to all the geeks out there) It's too crisp, clean and Type A ish. It just doesn't lend itself to an appearence of a fun, friendly, non threatening enviroment.

If you had bright colors, a few smiley emoticons here and there, perhaps John Q.Public, and technically inept non geeks like me, might register.
