Trying to work out how old my caravan is

Hi I Have been trying to find out how old my car and is and ways of renovating it, on the front bar the numbers are rusted so was hoping if I knew how could add pic of it and see if anyone had any suggestions. 🙂

If the numbers are stamped or raised, you can use the 'brass rubbing' technique 
Or you may be able to uses sandpaper very lightly to see if you can get any contrast
Another thought is to soak a rag in white vinegar and lay the rag on the plate, this will disolve the rust
Or use a flashlight at different angles to highlight the high points

The title and registration papers should list the model year. Do you not have any of that?
