We get a lot of threads for movies that you've watched over and over, but not many for ones that you only watch once. So what movie, for better or worse, can you only watch once?
Mine is Doctor Sleep. I loved that movie SO much. But it's really one of those movies that rely a lot on shock value, and watching it again wouldn't have the same effect.

For me, I feel like the Butterfly Effect is one of those movies. Along with "Taken" I believe that after the shock value is gone, it won't be the same. Not for lack of trying, and I can confirm it isn't.

HOSTEL. That movie is so depraved. I love horror movies, but that one takes the biscuit. It's not the gore, it's the concept behind the story. To think there may actually be psycho, rich b******s who would pay for this sort of sick 'entertainment'. Makes me feel ill to the core. Never, ever watch it again.

The Lovely Bones was so disturbing that even though I know exactly how things will transpire, I never want to feel that way again.

Passion of the Christ. That is not a movie I could watch a second time. I get what it was trying to do and the message, but I just can't watch a guy be tortured and die brutally for two hours. They spent too much time on the death of Christ and not enough time on the resurrection. I looked away from the screen at several points of the movie because I know if I haven't I probably would've vomited.

Primer, hard to follow but not good second time round.
Mentioned elsewhere Memento. Someone edited it and put it in chronological order, it actually made less sense.
Also could add some I'd never want to see again like the last Mad Max or anything involving the Mr Bean character.
Totally OT, but some films like Withnail and I or The Blues Brothers newer grow old for me. Pretty much an annual viewing.
