Video Game favorites

Video games are my passion. My favorite is the original Monster Rancher for Sony PlayStation, and my least favorite is Dark Castle on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

Last game I played was Broken Helix for the Sony PlayStation. Obscure game starring Bruce Campbell as the lead voice. It has a good story, but the gameplay and graphics are horrible. I'm currently working on a review of the game on my YouTube channel. Lately I have played Monster Rancher. F.E.A.R., Evil Zone, BattleTanx, Auto Destruct, Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and Castlevania 64.

I'm also a big fan of the Resident Evil series. It was the first game to inspire me creatively.

When time permits I love to hop on play Final Fantasy XV. It’s a beautiful game. I’ve completed the story once. Now I just like to fish or seek out new recipes and complete mini quests. lol

Currently, I have been loving Dreams. Playstation exclusive from the devs of LittleBigPlanet and the creations in it are neverending. Played the outlast style creation someone did and it legit made me jump a couple times playing it. 😁

I've been playing my PS5 a lot lately, with games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. I've also been playing Super Mario Maker 2 on my Switch a lot lately, and have streamed that game.

I've been playing the original Spyro the Dragon on my PS2. On the swamp world right now. I haven't played this game for a decade so I thought I was long overdue.

I revisited Spyro 1 recently myself on the ps4 "remaster" collection and loved every minute of it. I also realized I still suck at those speedway levels. 🤣

I play and like a lot of games. The Witcher series is one of my favorites. Right now I'm back to being obsessed with CS:GO lol I have this habit of mainly playing one game until I'm burnt out on it and then I go on to something else. Sometimes I might play a single campaign type game and multiplayer online game at the same time (not literally)... or switch from a shooter to a MOBA. It depends on how I feel. So, I'm not playing any new games right now, and not sure what I'll play next, as my Steam game list is too long.... and my wish list is also long xD

Right now I really enjoy playing Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One and Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch.

I just bought Battlefield 2042 and it's hot garbage.

I used to live for the Battlefield franchise. I had a blast screwing around in BF: Bad Company. I eventually learned to love Bf:BC2 as well. I sunk more hours into BF3 on PS3 than probably any other game ever. I didn't always like it, and sometimes raged against it, but damn if I didn't keep going back to it until it became my favorite. BF4 felt like a pale imitation of 3 and just didn't seem right to me (though I know it became one of the most popular in the franchise after major patches, but I refused to give it the time of day after its horribly buggy launch).

The WWI-themed Battlefield 1 is probably the most recent game in the series that I've enjoyed. Cavalry should've been nerfed out of that game completely, but the bolt-action gunplay felt right. The WWII-themed follow-up, Battlefield V changed the formula too much and shows that EA and DICE don't seem to even understand why the series works the way it does--an assertion supported by 2042 continuing to piss all over everything.

If there's one thing about 2042 that I can get behind, it's the Portal mode. In addition to letting you host your own games, it contains gameplay from BF1942, BF:BC2, and BF3 (player classes, weapons, and a couple maps each). I would be a very happy li'l soldier if this mode expanded to include all of the base maps from these games and I could essentially play BC2 and BF3 again on my PS5. (Apparently the servers are still active for the older consoles, but I doubt I could find (m)any good matches if I hooked up my console again.)

It seems like I have very limited free time lately but when I am able to play video games it's usually Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy XV or Skyrim.

Personally as above i'm a FF junkie so i'm excited for FF16 AND the prequel.
I'm also looking forward to the open world pokemon game Arceus Legends! It looks beautiful! That's also like a prequel to the entire story! 

Right now I am replaying Resident Evil 4, after playing through the first of them. I can honestly say I love them beyond reason! Even the bad ones I will play through.
I also love Mortal Kombat Series

I am very excited to see what they come out with next. It is something I love to track and see as well.

I am waiting for the new Resident Evil 4.

I have the new Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil : Village, which, they are working on a sequel for that game as well.

I need to beat Resident Evil : Biohazard, again before playing all the above.

I've been playing Pokemon Legends Arceus as of late, and it's probably now my favorite Pokemon game of all time. I haven't finished it yet, but all my strongest Pokemon are at level 81 or so.
