On my navbar, as I imagine is the case on most of the navbars, is the menu item 'Members'. Would it be possible to make a hover effect such that there is a dropdown showing, say, 'See all members' as link 1 and 'Staff members' as link 2? Much as the navtree behaves, in fact.

"No" is the immediate answer, so I will head over there now. Thanks, Lynx.

Reporting back, Lynx. Rather than reading eight years' worth of posts on the support thread to find my answer (!) I struggled to work out Shorty's instructions and eventually twigged, it works just as what I was searching for, so thanks, again, for that!
Another screenshot on his instructions would be useful to explain the basic steps, and it didn't help that on my laptop keyboard I don't have the 'pipe' symbol (|), so a lot of copying and pasting was involved!

Strange. Does your keyboard have the backslash ( \ ) key? If yes, try SHIFT + \ - you should get the pipe symbol ( | ).

Strange. Does your keyboard have the backslash ( \ ) key? If yes, try SHIFT + \ - you should get the pipe symbol ( | ). It's a French laptop, the backslash is available with ALT GR and unfortunately SHIFT + ALT GR + \ doesn't give me anything at all.
Thanks to Chris, though, I can get it with ALT GR + 6; I didn't watch all of the video, but the indications at the beginning made me think that that combination, which shows as the symbol which shouldn't exist and which I can't type on my keyboard, might work, and it does: |
An appropriate place to put the image of Magritte's painting, known in English as 'This is not a pipe'.
