I posted a thread a while back about living in my car. And I was in a bad bad state of mind. I had lost my job due to the next strand of Covid, and I had literally no money.. The saddest part is, I was dealing with a bad bad bout of depression as a result. (I saw a doctor)
I took the advice of those on this community, and went and got help... it was a battle I KNEW I wouldn't win..
And I have to thank ALL OF YOU! That commented, and made me feel like family.
Staff can lock this thread, but I just wanted to put it out there I am okay. I am now employed. And I still have my home.

I am so glad to hear this, as I was very worried about you! Sometimes it's hard to see through the darkness, I know that from my own battles in the past. I am very very proud of you that you sought help, even though it was difficult. (((HUGS)))

My son was a driving force of course. But I do NOT want to go back to that place. It was horrible. |

I'm sorry you had to go through that and I'm also glad you were able to get yourself out of it. Depression isn't fun and I've seen it consumed a lot of people, my own family even. I also have a mental illness and am fighting it everyday and I've been paying for having symptoms of that mental illness for the last five years.

Thank you for that! And I truly understand. My brother still takes medication for it, it is just so hard to admit that I needed help with my own emotions. I hope you get help that you need as well! cheers! |
