I don't really share much personal detail about my personal life here but I've kind of been dealing with some medical stuff lately that's been a little hard to grasp it's nothing that major in my eyes but it's had a hard stress factor on my personal life. But being here so long thought it would be nice to share given any sudden events.
Recently Doctors have tried writing off my condition as just anxiety as a mental disorder until I saw a neurologist. I've had MRIs done and EEGs but recent results have shown possible epilepsy seizures, I know their are more major conditions out there, I'm not that afraid of it more so afraid of others not understanding it. I'm hoping medication can help get it under control for now.

I too have something wrong that doctors just can't put their fingers on-they treat it as both anxiety AND epilepsy.

No they haven't but they requested Depakote, I don't really want to get too involved in medications due to privacy. It's just been getting on my nerves how they can make you wait days and weeks to get started on something. I take it you are not with a private insurance company? You are from the USA or am I wrong?

Yeah and unfortunately have some of the crummiest doctors in my area that ignore my pleads for changing medications around and takes them days to get back to you when a message is left, almost makes me feel neglected under their care and I don't have much of an option to switch over not having insurance luckily they have programs to help people cover costs under hospitals though.

If you've never heard of GoodRX, grab a card from your doctor's office or download the app. Generic versions of seizure medicines are already pretty cheap, but when you add the GoodRX discount, they cost pocket change per day.
How do I know? I take seizure medication.
