Here is a link to the plugin, Sidebar Redux. It can be activated for both the left side and right side of the forum, or individually for one side of the forum, if you do not want to use both sides. It has a number of options, including the ability to collapse specific items in the sidebar, that you want to be able to let users to hide for personal preference. |
