Search function isn't working. Possible re-index?

Hello guys. I would like to request a re-index to be done in the forum. Recent threads and posts, as well as the recent results since late June, don't appear. This also includes labels because the recent ones don't appear when the filter is done. As a premise, I filed a report about the same issue in January and May of this year, which you could read both of them here and here, respectively.

I'm wondering if this issue should be forwarded to the systems team to further investigate once again like it was done last time. Thanks in advance!

A reindex should be done for you a little later today. If you continue to have problems with the searches past today, let us know and it can be investigated further.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Although the issue seems to be solved with the threads and posts done from late June until September 1, it keeps going with the recent threads that were created and posts after the latest reindex was submitted.

The last thread that works using the search function is the one below.

I tried using 'what to search' and 'where to search' with the word 'beach' and this works perfectly as you could see below.

• Search for posts with at least the word beach, made by Everybody, and display results as threads: link
• Search for posts where the thread title contains beach, made by Everybody, and display results as threads: link

However, if I tried using 'what to search' and 'where to search' with the word 'drake', this doesn't work and it doesn't give me any results of this specific thread as you could see below. The same could be applied with the rest of the new threads created.

• Search for posts with at least the word drake, made by Everybody, and display results as threads: link
• Search for posts where the thread title contains drake, made by Everybody, and display results as threads: link

As I mentioned some days ago, the problem was solved and the search function has been working normally, but it stop since yesterday.

Thank you for your prompt reply and apologies for the delay of this post. Although this issue was solved with the the threads that were created before the reindex was submitted, it wasn't with the the threads that were created after the reindex was submitted.

The last thread that works using the search function is the one below, which was created on September 13 at 4:20pm. CDT.

However, the next thread, which was created on September 13 at 5:41pm. CDT, and the subsequent threads since that one after the last one [as of September 19 at 11:53pm. CDT] don't work using the search function. There are more than 120 new threads right now, so I'm only writing the first and the last one so far.

There is another reindex pending which should hopefully sort things. Roughly an hour from this post it should be completed.

Hello Michael,

Sorry to bother you once again, but the same issue is happening. After the reindex you submitted was done, the threads and posts that were done before work perfectly. However, the new threads that were created and the posts that were done after the latest reindex don't.

If it's taken into consideration your post about the reindex, which you replied on September 20 at 12:48pm. CDT, it shows that the thread below works using the search function.

On the other hand, the next thread, which was created on September 20 at 2:54pm. CDT (more than two hours after the aforementioned), and the subsequent threads since that one after the last one [as of September 21 at 11:20pm. CDT] don't work using the search function. There are 26 new threads so far, so I'm only writing the first and the last one.

I believe we've resolved the error that was causing the index and a new index is running. It may take some time to complete so I'll check back later.
