Hi. My forum uses a spoiler tag plug-in. I’m not sure how to add the icon to the Shoutbox so that my members can use the plug-in.

While the spoiler plugin doesn't currently work in the shoutbox, spoilers themselves do. All you need to do is wrap the content in
xxx
tags.

Thanks! I've reminded my members of that. It appears some are remembering it while others forget (like me). I'm doing okay in that end.

You can add a spoiler button to the shoutbox using a procedure similar to the one described in this thread

That would work perfectly. I'll try it! Thank you so much.
What would the name be for the Spoiler tag? insertSpoilerTag?

That would work perfectly. I'll try it! Thank you so much. What would the name be for the Spoiler tag? insertSpoilerTag? There is no default Proboards spoiler button so you would need to create the button yourself in the plugin making sure to fill the index field with the name you gave to the group of buttons you previously created for the shoutbox so that newly created button gets included in that shoutbox group of buttons fig 1. create custom spoiler button fig 2. create group of buttons that will replace shoutbox buttons *custom created buttons can be added to this group by setting their index to the name of this group

I've done that, it seems to be working as of now. But it keeps disappearing... I have tried putting the Spoiler button on my Quick Reply bar, but it's not appearing. I'm not sure why. fig 1. in ControlFreak pluginShould be where the red arrow is pointing. fig 2. on the forum.

From the look of it all the buttons are lumped into a single group(?) Note: Proboards uses four standard groups If this is true then there is effectively only one group on the quick reply so a value of 27 for custom button index would be excessive, try 1 for that value or 2 if you want it in its own group after everything else. If you wish to get the separations for the buttons create separate groups and add the buttons you want in that group then add the index of the group to the custom button to have it added to that group. Use the sequence field of the group to dictate the order of the buttons within that group including any added custom buttons
Edit:since that is an image directly exported from the vspoiler plugin installed on your forum is it disappearing if you disable vspoiler? Can you upload the image to something else such as the image section of an installed theme if you plan to disable vspoiler?
